Director People Engagement

What will be keeping you busy?

In this particular role you will support the development of a sustainable culture change, ensuring peoples capability, engagement and fulfilment in their roles. You will develop a positive training culture, incorporating personal development plans in turn creating a strong focus on high performance.

You will lead and develop an employee communication strategy, to ensure all staff feel part of the (company) family and you will ensure that this has a huge impact on the business long term. You will also ensure the implementation of the Corporate Responsibility strategy to deliver a sustainable program of CSR activities to support the corporate strategy aims and to create a highly engaged staff team, inspiring social awareness.

Also Expect To

  • Create a coaching culture that supports professional and personal development
  • Design and facilitate change workshops to develop change capability
  • Lead on staff focus groups which create inclusion in business decision making
  • Function as a consultant and counselor to key leaders and their respective organizations; engage in strategic planning meetings to translate business needs into HR plans
  • Support the company brand, vision and values to ensure staff feel part of the company
  • Lead on and develop an employee communication strategy
  • Implement of Corporate Responsibility strategy
  • Lead on staff focus groups


Requirement Summary

  • Bachelor degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology with a Masters /MBA preferred. CIPD or GPHR certification preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, preferably in a high tech environment
  • Experience working with global teams, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization
  • High levels of resourcefulness, influence/organizational savvy, execution skills (strategy through implementation) as well as executive presence/impact
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
