Job Description:
- Developing and maintaining cutting edge web app development
- Preparing and maintaining all applications utilizing standard development tools
- Write efficient, reusable and documented code
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Utilizing backend data services and contributing to increasing existing data services API.
- Ensuring HTML, CSS, JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
- Participate in code reviews and refactoring discussions with multiple domains and delivery teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
- Using test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
- Interfacing with a customer and internal teams to gather requirements.
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in backend development.
Job Requirements:
- 3-6 years hands-on experience in:
- o PHP, PHP (OOP), HTML 5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax
o Exposure in any one PHP Framework: Laravel, YII, Symfony, Zend, falcon
o Exposure in any one JS Frameworks: Vue.js, Angular.js, React.js, Node.js - Good expertise in PHP based REST services
- Experience with the Flask, micro-framework, Laravel, YII, Symfony
- Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
- Experience in working in Agile teams with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience in using security, encryption and authentication protocols such as SSO, OAuth, and Certificates for securing transmission.
- Good Knowledge of distributed SOA, Web Services, Relational DB concepts, Elastic Search, DynamoDB and various AWS technologies.
- Develop RESTful APIs, leveraging Open API specifications, API Gateway for runtime governance and security of Microservices
- Good in PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL, REDIS and query optimization
- Should have strong concepts of OOP
- Creative, efficient problem solver, Self-motivated and quick learner
- Good communication skills are required.
