Pakistani movies to watch on Amazon Prime

 The Pakistani entertainment industry has made a comeback with a bang. Many Television shows and films are now streamed on Netflix i.e Humsafar, Pinky Memsaab and Chalay thay Saath. Furthermore, the Pakistani web series Churail will be releasing next week on Zee5. Also, Amazon Prime is streaming Pakistani movies that are a must-watch.

Baaji

The movie starring Meera, revolves around a Lollywood star yearning to make a comeback. She then stumbles upon an opportunity wherein, a Pakistani-American director casts her in a film to revive local film industry. If you are a Meera fan then definitely watch the movie.


Chhalawa

The movie starring Lollywood’s leading actress, Mehwish Hayat, and Zara Noor Abbas revolves around the character, Zoya who plans to escape from her father’s haveli so that she can be with her love of life, Sameer. But her father has shut down all connections including the internet and a phone connection. Leaving the Haveli isn’t as easy she believes.


Talash

Directed by Zeeshan Khan, the movie tells the story of three best friends who have recently graduated as medical doctors and are setting up a medical camp in rural Tharparkar. The movie also touches upon social issues. The movie stars Ahmed Zeb and Noman Sami.


Actor in Law

This movie starring, Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, and late Indian actor Om Puri. The movie revolves around the main protagonist who is estranged from his attorney's father and secretly aspires to become an actor. He then poses as a lawyer and becomes a celebrity for solving difficult cases. A must watch indeed.


Load Wedding

This movie touches upon a prevalent social issue that is dowry. A young man (Fahad Mustafa) gets married before his older sister, leaving her bitter, jealous, and without a proper dowry. The couple then does everything in their power to get her married which includes sacrificing their self-esteem and respect for the sake of toxic societal norms.
